Billy Selekane is an Author, Internationally acclaimed Inspirational Keynote Speaker, Personal, Team and Organizational Effectiveness Specialist.
I am a native of Tembisa a township on the East Rand very close to Johannesburg International Airport. Through some serious hard work ,a Big Dream and a score of Mentors and very positive and inspired attitude I now own and run my own organization Billy Selekane and Associates which operates around my Core Philosophy, From the Comfort to the Powerzone, “Mediocrity” Comfort Zones to “Excellence” Powerzone a Motivational Training , Leadership/Management Development, Strategy Formulation and Implementation business.
My focus is on personal/organizational transformation and inspiring both individuals and organizations to want to be the best that they can be and to offer them the means of achieving that altered status . My initial focus was South Africa and SADEC with organic growth , I now play in the World market.
I use my inspirational and motivational techniques which I have learned through my interaction with books from a host of other motivational speakers, strategist, exceptional business leaders both commercial and social, ordinary people who have done extra-ordinary things and put their names in our memories, and that young man or women who wakes up in Africa with a hope and faith of being the best that they believe they were born to be.
One of my many personal goals was to have read thousand (1000) books by the end of 2003, safe to say that I have done that now. I am very passionate about being a South African first and being an African second.
On my hobbies I am a keen classical music collector, I love the theatre, am a food lover and cook for leisure, I have reached a sifu level (Kung-fu Master) in my study of the Chinese martial arts called Chi Tsung a style incepted in Taiwan, I am an amateur diver and a keen water sports enthusiasts. I am a collector of small things “statues, models etc “ I love traveling.
He is Executive Chairman of Billy Selekane and Associates with associated footprint in Sweden, UK, USA, and Singapore an Action Learning, Strategy Formulation, Team ,Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership Development Organization.
His focus is in Personal, Team and Organizational Effectiveness, which he delivers through, customized keynotes and client centric interventions.

He is a regular at a Gauteng based radio station Kaya FM with a listener ship of 1 000 000 daily where he inspires and give advice on Personal , Leadership and Team Effectiveness issues.

He has inspired over 3 million people globally through his keynotes, seminars, interventions and his recently published book “From Barefoot to Snakeskin Shoes.
