In hundreds of presentations across America, Micah has helped students use their own humor, energy and enthusiasm to create a life that is full of joy, wonder and success. With comedic flair and passionate intensity, Micah brings to life childhood characters who help deliver his message. He skillfully shares stories which offer students a simple set of tools to help them write their own futures. His creative approach works!
Micah holds BA Degrees in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Claremont Mc Kenna College. He has been speaking since 1990 as a keynote speaker and a leadership consultant. During the last 10 years, Micah trained internationally in Russia, Brazil, Israel and Tanzania, was a trainer with the United Nations Global Youth Forum, and was selected as a Youth Trainer at two Global Youth Summits.
With a unique background in cutting edge leadership technologies and peer-to-peer training models, Micah can design a program for your specific needs. For example, using students from your school as trainers, a special project can be useful to deal with an important issue in a lasting way. Projects have included a "kindness" day at a middle school, a "leadership" day at an elementary school, club officers training at both high schools and colleges. Micah can also customize an exciting and meaningful inservice program and parent evening on a wide range of topics, as shown in the Program section.

It is Responding with Enthusiasm and Acting with Love. Micah helps us remember the spirit of the child inside--the kid who ran head first into the garbage can or had tea parties with imaginary friends. At the same time, we need to know that we cannot remain children our whole life. Throughout our lives, the things we do leave a mark, often upon the hearts and minds of those closest to us. Each day we can find enthusiasm--the spirit to take on life's hurdles. However, childlike enthusiasm can leave us forever children if we forget to care for others. In a world that believes only in itself, we need those among us who can reach out more than ever. As growing adults, we must learn to care for other's needs and act constantly with love.
