Improvisation by its nature also requires highly developed skills in communication and teamwork. By focusing on these key areas, Explosive Minds Improvisation Workshops use the power of performance to demonstrate skills such as listening and not ‘blocking’ the ideas of others. Proving that one person alone will never achieve as highly as a team of committed individuals, supporting each other towards a common goal.

To enable the right environment, all workshops and performances begin by creating a safe and open space, so delegates can feel comfortable stepping outside of their comfort zones and trusting their team. Each workshop can also culminate with a performance by the delegates themselves! The 45 minute Interactive Show is the perfect way to leave your audience buzzing with excitement and laughter, be it at the start of a conference, after dinner at the end of a long day, or wrapping up a successful event with a bang! The Explosive Minds team will work with your audience to create a hilarious show unique to your event.

E=MC2

While one Explosive Minds MC will bring magic and comedy to any event, add another performer and you have a high energy, hilarious comic duo! E=MC2 includes the consistency of two MCs, with improvisation highlights as energisers throughout the event. All Explosive Minds MCs are skilled at keeping your event rolling at the pace you need, each with solid backgrounds in stand up comedy, TV, radio and corporate entertainment.

Explosive Minds the Musical!

With all the the energy and humour you would expect from Explosive Minds, the musical team use suggestions from your audience to create songs from the variety of genres... all to live music, all made up on the spot! Imagine a serenade to the HR Director, or a Broadway musical about your latest product, or even a rap 'wrap-up' of the past year? As no improvised show is ever the same, the team can also tailor their performances to suit your event theme. Laughter Academy

There is no better way to anchor learning than laughter. Explosive Minds use the power of the nervous system to engage delegates in learning the Language of Improvisation. These skills include the power of 'Yes and..', not blocking your teams ideas and also really owning your role in every scenario. The foundation of teamwork is listening and learning to appreciate the thoughts, styles and ideas of others. During these workshops the team highlight this message and many others by asking delegates to work through various comedic scenarios, proving that it’s our own reactions to situations that prevent us from reaching the outcomes we seek.The Laughter Academy can be run as either a stand alone session, or up to a year long program of workshops building on the skills and climaxing in an amazing Finale!

Thank Goodness You Came!

A corporate take-off of the popular television show “Thank God You’re Here”. This program consists of the Explosive Minds team running a high-energy workshop during the day, covering the various skills of improvisation. The evening then kicks off with a finale performance in true TGYH style, with the Explosive Minds team performing pre-prepared comedy sketches to fit your event theme, then inviting delegates to use their new found skills as the celebrity guests! The program finally finishes a week later, with each workshop participant receiving a video link to their performance to show friends and family how ‘officially hilarious’ they are! (NB The provision of a video link comes at an additional fee)
