Phil Gordon is a world-class card player, adventurer, traveler and accomplished businessman who has won nearly over a million in poker tournaments since his debut as a major player during the 2001 World Series of Poker championship. He also won the 2004 World Series Championship He is a co-host on the popular Celebrity Poker Showdown with Kevin Pollak. Before taking up the game professionally, Phil graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology at 20, worked a 2-year stint at Lockheed Missiles and Space, and then joined Netsys Technologies, Inc. as its lead software engineer and first employee. Three years later, Cisco Systems purchased the company for $95 million. When not playing poker, Phil enjoys traveling and has been to over 50 countries on six continents. Phil is currently undertaking the greatest road trip in sports history to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation.
